On our tour on numerous walking paths you will discover Dubrovnik and the surrounding region, including its beautiful coastal area, islands and countryside. The intention of this tour is to show you the natural beauty of the old villages in the Konavle countryside, walled town of Ston, coastal areas, the Elaphiti islands and the island of Mljet which is also a national park.

1st day: arrival day and transfer to Ston
Meeting with our representative at Dubrovnik Airport and transfer to Peljesac peninsula and medieval town of Ston, your base for the first two days of the tour.
On this day, depending on your arrival time, we suggest easy walking tour in historical part of Ston. It is possible to walk along the Ston walls or around the bay with salt pans.

2nd day: Ston - Nepoleonic roads and stone vineyards
Total distance 16 km, elevation 310 m
On your 2nd day in Ston you take a walk towards the wine growing area above the town of Ston. The walking trail starts in the picturesque valley of Ston and continues on the historical French road, known as the Napoleonic road.
This road takes you to the inland of peninsula and wine yards that has been built on the stone terraces above the sea and Ston valley. This trail gives you beautiful views to the city walls, salt works, bays with the oyster farms and vineyard. You take the same trail back to the town.

3rd day: Ston - Mljet island
Polace (or Pomena) - oko jezera - Polace (or Pomena)
Distance 14 km, elevation 150 m
This day starts with transfer to the port of Prapratno (near the town of Ston), from where you will take a ferry to Sobra on Mljet island. From Sobra you will have a car transfer to the National park area where your tour base for the next two days will be.
Mljet, often called "the green island" because of its lush vegetation is a pearl in the Adriatic and one of eight Croatian national parks, famous by clear blue sea, numerous bays, beaches and cliffs, but also two lovely salt lakes - warm even early in the year.
Upon arrival to Polace (or Pomena) and your check in at your B&B a walking adventure starts. For the first day on the island we suggest a route towards the lakes and around the lakes in National park area.

4th day - the island of Mljet
Polace (or Pomena) - Govedari - Babine kuce - lakes - Polace (Pomena)
Distance 12 km, elevation 300 m
On the second day on the island you will take a trail to Montokuc hill, the highest peak in the National park. On your way down from Montokuc, you will walk through the pine forests to get to the saltwater lakes and the town of Soline at the very end of the National park.

5th day - Mljet - Dubrovnik

Free day in Dubrovnik or optional city tour with our guide
In Dubrovnik you have a free afternoon to explore Dubrovnik on your own (visit city walls) or take an optional city tour (in historical part) of Dubrovnik with our guide. You can also hike to Srd, the hill above Dubrovnik, and enjoy in spectacular views or spend the afternoon on Lokrum island (a small island in front of the Old town).
Dubrovnik is a beautiful historical city of lovely red-roofed buildings surrounded by impenetrable walls. This gem is a part of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list.
Even George Bernard Shaw once said, "Those who seek paradise on Earth should come and see Dubrovnik."

6th day: the island of Lopud

Self-guided walking tour on the island of Lopud
In the morning you will take the ferry from the Gruz port to the island of Lopud (the ride takes about 55 min). Two departure times (in the afternoon hours) are available for your return to Dubrovnik.
Lopud has lush Mediterranean vegetation, a mild climate with plenty of sunny days, old stone houses, churches and a large number of noble palaces. Lopud is a perfect place for a getaway from Dubrovnik for a day hike. There are several hiking trails, including the one which goes around the island and is 9 km long, along which you can discover old forts, churches, a botanical garden and enjoy a magnificent view of the cliffs. The island is also famous for having one of the best beaches in the Dubrovnik area.
Lopud is an Elaphiti island centrally located between the islands of Sipan and Kolocep. It is well connected with Dubrovnik port by daily boat lines. The biggest village on the island is also named Lopud and it is located in a picturesque bay with a Franciscan monastery on the waterfront surrounded by palm and citrus trees.
The hiking trail starts at the Lopud port and follows the streets and steps outside of the village all the way up to the magnificent viewpoint where the Kastio fort and the Church of St. John are located. Past that point, the hiking trail continues along the Sunj beach with a view overlooking the cliffs on the southern side of the island. The trail ends in the village of Lopud, at the Lopud port where it started.

7th day: Dubrovnik - Konavle
Tusici - valley - river Ljuta - Gruda - Tusici

After breakfast our driver will take you to Konavle valley, a picturesque farming area between Dubrovnik Airport and border with Montenegro.
Konavle is the southernmost part of the Dubrovnik region. It is known for its particular natural beauties, from the Konavle valley surrounded with green hills, through its numerous charming villages and vineyards, all the way to the exceptional cliffs overlooking the sea. In the valley there are nice walking trails passing by the river and old villages.
You will start off your first day by going on a walking tour from your accommodation in the Konavle countryside that takes you through the village, across the valley, through the forest and vineyards all the way to the area of the Ljuta River full of old water mills.
