This full-day trip from Dubrovnik takes you beyond Croatia’s borders to discover the beauty and culture of Bosnia and Herzegovina. After a 2-hour scenic drive, we reach the charming town of Čapljina, located by the rivers Neretva and Trebižat.
Upon arrival, we meet our friendly local hosts — a family who runs a small farm by the river. After a warm welcome and short introduction, we drive a few minutes upstream to the starting point of our canoe adventure. Following a safety briefing, we paddle down the peaceful Trebižat River, surrounded by lush greenery and small waterfalls. The route is around 8 km long and takes about 3 hours to complete.
At the end of the canoe trip, we return to the farm, where a traditional homemade lunch awaits us under the shade of fruit trees.

After lunch, we continue our journey about 45 minutes north to Mostar, one of the most iconic towns in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Here, we take a guided sightseeing tour of the historic center —including the Old Bridge (Stari Most) and the Turkish Bazaar. You’ll have free time afterward to explore, shop for souvenirs, or enjoy coffee along the Neretva River before returning to Dubrovnik in the late afternoon.
