Description

Konavle is also known as the Dubrovnik countryside, located in the southeast of Croatia.

This area is full of farms, vineyards and stone houses and often visited by those who are intrigued by the local tradition or local way of life.

Food, local cuisine and wine is certainly the best and the fastest way to understand the local culture and immerse yourself in the local way of life, guided by the motto “pomalo” (take it easy and enjoy every moment with good people, food and wine).

This tour takes you to the home of a local family in Konavle and through their history, tradition and commitment to the place where they live, which is something they are very proud of.

After a scenic ride from Dubrovnik, we will reach Konavle and our hosts will welcome us with traditional homemade liqueurs and figs. Afterwards, they will take us on a tour around their beautiful property and fields. There, we will pick traditional vegetables and fruits. By obtaining the necessary ingredients for the preparation of traditional meals, dishes and refreshments, a cooking class becomes a very fun journey.

The class will end with a tasty traditional meal, which we will eat sitting around the table like a traditional family.

After this interesting culinary experience, we will visit the famous Sokol tower, one of the most impressive medieval remains in the Dubrovnik area, from where you will experience an impressive view of the magnificent landscapes of Konavle in their full beauty.
