On our tour you will discover Dubrovnik and its surrounding region in range from its beautiful coastal area, islands and countryside through numerous walking paths. The intention of this tour is to show you natural beauty of the old villages in Konavle countryside, coastal areas and medieval towns on Elaphite islands and Mljet island which is national park.

Itinerary

1st Day: Arrive in Konavle

Konavle is the most southern part of the region of Dubrovnik. It is very well known by its particular natural beauties and contrast starting with its green hills up to Konavle vally throuhg numerous charming villages, vineyards all the way to its exceptional cliffs, stretching above the sea.

Meet at Dubrovnik airport and transfer to the area of Konavle, settlement Gruda.

Tusici – valley –– river Ljuta - Gruda – Tusici 12.5km

Self-guided walking tour of charming paths and villages of the area of Konavle.
Starting out from your accommodation in Konavle countryside, the first day you start with a walking
path that goes along the village, across the valley, through forest and vineyards to area of river Ljuta
with old water mills.

Night stay in Gruda, Konavle.

Overnight: B&B


2nd Day: Konavle, route up to 15.4 km

Tusici – Radovčići– Popovići - Gruda - Tusici.Tusici – Radovčići– Popovići - Gruda - Tusici.

 

Starting out from your accommodation in Konavle countryside ,uphill to Radovčići and toward the
sea and loop back via old railroad back to Gruda and Tušić

Night stay in Gruda.

3rd Day: Dubrovnik

After breakfast check out from your guesthouse in Gruda and transfer towards Dubrovnik. During a morning you will have guided walking tour, historical tour of the Old city of Dubrovnik.

Dubrovnik is a beautiful, historic city of lovely red-roofed buildings all surrounded by in penetrable walls. This gem is a part of UNESCO World Heritage site.

As George Bernard Shaw once said, those who seek paradise on Earth should come to Dubrovnik and see Dubrovnik.

The tour includes orientation city tour with a guide, up to 2 hours, optional half day trip on island Lokrum (Botanical garden).

4th Day: Island of Lopud, walking distance up 12 km

Self guided walking trip on the Lopud island.
This morning we take ferry from Dubrovnik port to the Lopud island, sail takes about 45 min, for the
return (in the afternoon hours) we have several departures from the Lopud port to Dubrovnik.
Lopud reach Mediterranean vegetation, mild climate with plenty sunny days, old stone houses,
churches and number of noble palaces. Lopud is perfect gateway from Dubrovnik for a day hike,
there are several hiking trails, or big one that makes loop around the island of 12 km where you can
discover old forts, churches, botanical garden, the magnificent views over the cliffs… it is also
famous for having the one of the best beaches in Dubrovnik.
Lopud is one, centrally located, in the group of the Elaphite islands; it is well connected with
everyday ferry lines with Dubrovnik port. The main town and biggest place is Lopud, settled in
picturesque bay with Franciscan monastery and water front surround with palm trees and citruses.
Hiking trail starts from the Lopud port and follows the streets and steps outside of the town to
magnificent view point where is fort Kastio and Sv. Ivan church, after that goes along the beach of
Šunj and above cliffs on the southern side of the island… this trail finish in the town Lopud, port area

5th Day: The island of Mljet

Polace – around lakes – Polace, up to 14 kmPolace – around lakes – Polace, up to 14 km

Mljet, often called "the green island” because of its lush vegetation it is a pearl in the Adriatic and
one of the 8 Croatian National Parks. As with Sipan there is beautiful Mediterranean vegetation,
clear blue sea, numerous bays, beaches and cliffs... but also two lovely salt lakes - warm even early
in the year.
Your day starts with transfer to the port of Dubrovnik, from where you will take a boat to Polace on
Mljet.
Your walking begins on arrival at the village of Polace behind the ancient remains of a Roman palace
dating from the 2nd century and continues through the National Park and around the salt lakes. The
walk averages around 4 hours and there is the chance to swim and enjoy lunch in a local tavern
before your return to Polace

6th Day: The island of Mljet

Polace – Govedjari – Babine kuce – lakes – Polace, 8 km

 

Self guided walking tour in area of national park, we suggest walk to highest peak in national park area, hill Montokuc, on your way from Montokuc you head down through pine forests to salt lakes.

Night stay in Polače, Mljet.

Accommodation: B&B.

7th Day: Dubrovnik

Transfer to Dubrovnik where you have a free day.

Night stay in Dubrovnik.

Accommodation: Pension.

Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch.


8th Day: Departure

Transfer to the airport.
